This Bordeaux wine is dense and resonant, where black cherry, plum, chocolate, licorice and smoke all meld together in this layered Saint-Émilion. In 2016, it is quite understated and shows more of an emphasis on freshness than in the past.
Château Sansonnet is a classic Saint-Émilion: smooth, dense and generous. The nose develops aromas of black fruit, mocha and spices. On the palate it is round and delicate.
