The Quintarelli Recioto della Valpolicella represents all of this family’s values: the love, heart and soul of those who want to make an uncompromising, artisanal wine – as its handwritten labels on fine cork suggest; so gentle and unusual, a true masterpiece.
Recioto Quintarelli was born in vineyards located in the municipality of Negrar, in the Veneto region. The harvest and selection of the grapes – mainly Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella, Cabernet, Nebbiolo, Sangiovese and Croatina – is done exclusively, scrupulously by hand, during each phase of processing. After the harvest, the grapes are dried for about 120 days and then given ‘the time they need’ to refine, 5 or 6 years in small Slovenian oak barrels.
