Amarone Riserva is the pinnacle of the range at Quintarelli. Only made in exceptional years and then aged for at least 10 years, 7 of which are in Slavonian oak casks. The wine is made from meticulously selected bunches which are left to dry until January losing much of their weight, gaining in concentration, sugar and acidity. Following this the must is macerated for 20 days and undergoes a slow fermentation lasting up to 45 days until it is a dry wine.
